Creative Problem Solving
Identifying and dealing with problems is a course that will help participants to enhance their problem-solving skills. Regardless of the type of profession people work in, and problems can arise. They can occur with co-workers, business partners, clients, and even in personal relationships.
In this course, participants will gain knowledge of the problem-solving process that has been used by many business professionals. Participants will also learn how to use problem-solving tools that will enhance their skills in many areas to include but not limited to gathering information, data analysis, and brainstorming.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the concept of problem-solving and learn how to solve problems creatively
- Recognize the importance of identifying a problem accurately
- Discover and use different problem definition tools
- Write specific problem statements
- Utilize fundamental brainstorming tools to produce ideas for solutions
- Assess potential solutions against criteria, including cost/benefit analysis and group voting
- Comprehend how to recognize the tasks and resources required to apply solutions
- Assess and change solutions to reality
