Harassment in the Workplace
There is a range of different factors of harassment to include race, set, and even disability. When employees experience harassment, it can be uncomfortable, resulting in one leaving their job, job dissatisfaction, decreased work productivity, and reduced morale.
In this course, participants will be given tools that will help them to recognize workplace harassment and understand their rights and responsibilities under the law. Participants will also recognize the importance of creating harassment prevention programs to teach employees how to identify harassment and utilize its anti-harassment policy.
Course Objectives:
- Identify the terms and actions that constitute harassment
- Comprehend what the law says regarding harassment
- Employ anti-harassment policies
- Inform employees and create anti-harassment policies
- Examine the employer's and employee's rights and responsibilities concerning harassment
- Address harassment accusations
- Employ appropriate mediation techniques
