Management: Harassment in the Workplace

Workplace harassment is an ongoing problem in the work environment. Harassment can come in many forms, such as a touch, a phrase, reassignment of duties, denial of a promotion, an email, or even a conference call. There are many laws in place that alert people that harassment is illegal. It is not okay for employees to harass one another. Managers have to communicate that harassment is not tolerated in the workforce. To communicate this message and proper manager employees, they have to be aware of harassment reporting, procedures, responsibilities, and much more.
